Got Questions?

Frequently Asked Questions

Is the Yellow Fever and Malaria vaccine mandatory?

It is not strictly mandatory by law for the Manu Cultural Zone, but the Yellow Fever vaccine is highly recommended by the Ministry of Health. The malaria risk is low, but consulting a doctor about prophylaxis is advisable.

Is there electricity and internet in the jungle lodges?

Infrastructure is basic and ecological. Most lodges provide solar or generator electricity for a few hours at night to recharge batteries. There is no mobile signal or Wi-Fi, the perfect time to disconnect.

Are the night hikes safe?

Yes, completely safe as long as you follow the guide's instructions perfectly. We walk in single file on established trails with flashlights and without touching vegetation.
